This sauce is perfect for all crock pot roasts or just roast/red meats in general. I love horseradish with my roasts so when we whipped this up at my friend’s house last minute for dinner we were more than satisfied! It is a very healthy alternative too the normally very high calorie horseradish sauces you find in stores. It is also F R E S H !
Ingredients
1 cup Nonfat Greek yogurt
1/4 cup fresh horseradish
Lemon zest
Chopped green onion one stalk
Salt and Crushed Red Pepper to taste
Directions
1. In a bowl mix the nonfat greek yogurt and horseradish until very well blended. Add salt and pepper to taste. If you feel it is too horsey, add more yogurt. If it isn’t horsey enough- add more!
2. Lemon zest the top of the sauce, chop a green onion and sprinkle. Bon Appetit!
